Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was celebrated with great respect and enthusiasm on 19 February 2026 at Biyani College of Science and Management. The program was organized to commemorate the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and to inspire students with his ideals of bravery, leadership, and patriotism.
The program began with an introduction followed by a speech delivered by Dr. Nikhil Chaturvedi Sir. In his speech, he highlighted the life, achievements, and noble qualities of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. He spoke about Shivaji Maharaj’s courage, administrative skills, and dedication towards the nation. His words motivated the students to adopt discipline, honesty, and leadership in their lives.
After the speech, a 20-minute video showing the journey of Shivaji Maharaj was presented to the students. The video depicted his childhood, struggles, battles, and his role in establishing the Maratha Empire. It helped students understand his vision and contribution to Indian history.
Later, a movie titled Chavva was shown to the students to inspire them. The movie portrayed the bravery and sacrifices of Shivaji Maharaj and his warriors. The students watched the movie with great interest and felt motivated by the message of courage and devotion to the motherland.
The celebration of Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti was successful and informative. The program created a sense of pride and patriotism among the students and helped them learn important values from the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
